Aston Villa star responds to Abdoulaye Doucoure message after Everton win
Abdoulaye Doucoure was the star of the show as beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 in the Premier League on Saturday.
Doucoure fired home past Matz Sels Everton in the 94th minute to claim all three points for the Toffees against the Champions League hopefuls.
David Moyes’ men successfully built on the successful momentum they re-established with their 1-1 draw against Arsenal on 5 April.
The Toffees had previously enjoyed a nine-game unbeaten run in the Premier League before their 1-0 defeat to Liverpool in the Merseyside Derby on 2 April.

The 32-year-old wrote on Instagram: “What a feeling. We clearly deserved our victory. Enjoy your weekend, Toffees.”
Villa’s Ian Maatsen commented: “Oura” alongside a flame emoji.
Everton have done well to get themselves back on form
Since returning to Goodison Park to replace Sean Dyche and steer Everton away from relegation trouble, Moyes has already comfortably achieved his primary objective as the Blues have all but guaranteed their Premier League safety.
However, with little other than pride still left to play for, the Merseyside outfit have done well to bounce back from their defeat to local rivals Liverpool with their draw against second-place Arsenal and subsequent victory over third-place Forest.
Moyes’ men will have to be at their very best again when they go toe-to-toe with last season’s Premier League champions, Manchester City, on 19 April, before locking horns with Champions League hopefuls Chelsea a week later.
Everton are keen to enjoy a strong ending to the campaign ahead of their move away from Goodison Park to Bramley-Moore Dock, while recent results show that the Blues could be capable of doing just that if they can maintain their current form.
