David Moyes’ Everton did it again as the Toffees need one more win to secure Premier League safety.

Nottingham Forest certainly didn’t expect it, but Abdoulaye Doucoure’s late winner sent the Everton supporters into bedlam.

It was a brilliant display from the Toffees, who showed that they’re a completely different side when it comes to approaching these games.

On the whole, it was a quiet afternoon, but Doucoure’s late winner was deserved, as Iliman Ndiaye was a ‘bright spark’ once again.

However, one player showed Moyes his best performance yet, and it might give a hint to his future.

It might be up for debate, but Moyes was in awe of Jack Harrison’s performance.

The Scotsman clearly prides his players on working hard, and that’s exactly what he saw from the winger.

Harrison is a player who needs to consider his future, as Doucoure wants to stay at Everton, but Moyes might have already made his mind up on the attacker on loan from Leeds United.

Speaking in a post-match interview, Moyes made a big claim on Harrison’s showing and gave clear signs of future involvement.

“I thought Jack was very good today. He was a threat,” Moyes said.

“In many ways, it might have been one of his best performances.”

What Leon Osman spotted Harrison do for Everton in Forest win

Evertonians haven’t really taken the same view as Moyes since Harrison has been at the club.

Although he’s praised for his work ethic, Gary Neville has labelled Harrison as ‘poor’ and some fans might agree.

Well, Leon Osman was someone who spotted Harrison have a mare in the win vs Forest and had Doucoure not bailed out the Toffees at the end, Harrison would be getting pelters.

Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, the former Everton midfielder assessed a big chance from Harrison, which sums up parts of his career with the club.

“Everton break and Alcaraz is at the heart of it.

Doucoure plays it to Harrison, and he never looked comfortable,” Osman said.

“He couldn’t keep it under the crossbar.”

Nevertheless, the only opinion that matters is Moyes’ and if the Everton boss is happy with Harrison, then fans have no reason to disagree.
